Access to Higher Education Diploma (Medicine)

Unlock Your Future with Access to Higher Education Diploma (Medicine) from ASCEINTIS

What is an Access to HE diploma?

The Access to HE diploma is a unique qualification that provides a stepping stone for students to reach higher education and achieve their career goals. Access to HE online is designed for students aged 19 or older who may not have considered university or didn't receive the grades necessary to apply. As a highly regarded AVA, we support educators and individuals across the UK to gain their diplomas through centres nationwide.

Why Choose Access to Higher Education (HE) Diploma?

  • Direct University Entry: The Access to Science course is specifically designed to act as a “bridge” to university. Upon successful completion, students are qualified to apply to a range of science-based degree programs in universities across the country. There’s no need for additional foundation years or qualifications—this one course unlocks the door to higher education.
  • No Formal Entry Requirements: This program is open to everyone, regardless of prior academic achievements or formal science qualifications. You don’t need A-levels or equivalent certifications to get started. The course is designed to meet you where you are, helping you develop the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in a university environment.
  • Broad University Options: With Access to Science, you can progress to a wide array of degree programs, including:
    • Healthcare: Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Paramedic Science, Radiography, and more.
    • Biological Sciences: Biology, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Genetics, and Biochemistry.
    • Environmental Studies: Environmental Science, Ecology, Conservation Biology, and Sustainability.
    • Chemistry and Forensics: Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, and Forensic Science.
    • Physics and Engineering: Some students may even choose to explore engineering or applied physics pathways.
  • Supportive Learning Environment: Many students entering the Access to Science course may be returning to education after a break or transitioning from a different career path. The program is designed with this in mind, offering a supportive environment with smaller class sizes, one-on-one mentoring, and tailored academic guidance to help you adapt to study.
  • Build Confidence and Skills for Success: The course goes beyond science content; it also includes study skills, research techniques, academic writing, and presentation skills. These foundational skills help you develop the confidence needed to thrive in university, giving you an edge as you move into more advanced studies.
